Bass River gets new rating

This fall the MGA sent their rating team to Bass River for the purpose of reevaluating the course and slope ratings. This procedure should be done periodically to ensure any changes in the playability of the course are factored into the rating values. The playability of Bass River was greatly improved by the recent installation of a state of the art irrigation system.  You will note below the course and slope numbers reflect Bass River as more difficult than previous ratings.

G.P.S. Equipment Golf Cars!

We have added a Global Positioning satellite system to our golf car fleet.
The system will provide yardage readings to the center of the green.
The use of this system will expedite the club selection process and encourage favorable pace of play times.

Other enhancements to the golf car fleet include golf club covers and fold down windshields!

The system also enables the golf shop to observe the location of the golf cars throughout the course which will help in monitoring pace of play.
