FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

YARMOUTH’S BAYBERRY HILLS GOLF COURSE NAMED ONE OF
TOP PUBLIC COURSES IN MASSACHUSETTS

The May 2009 edition of New England Golf Monthly announced the results of its 2009 reader’s poll of top courses in New England with Yarmouth’s own Bayberry Hills listed among the very top in the survey, along with Pine Hills and Red Tail as the best public courses in Massachusetts.

Also receiving accolades, the Bayberry Hills Practice Facility was named among the top five in Massachusetts.  The Bass River Grille (at Bass River Golf Course in South Yarmouth), with its new improvements and a patio overlooking the mouth of the Bass River, was chosen as top “19 Hole” in the state.

As Yarmouth continues to improve its golf facilities, golfers are noticing!  For more information about Bayberry Hills or Bass River Golf courses, call Jim Armentrout, Director of Golf, at 508-760-4878.

leaf  G.P.S. Equipment Golf Cars!

We have added a Global Positioning satellite system to our golf car fleet.
The system will provide yardage readings to the center of the green.
The use of this system will expedite the club selection process and encourage favorable pace of play times.

Other enhancements to the golf car fleet include golf club covers and fold down windshields!

The system also enables the golf shop to observe the location of the golf cars throughout the course which will help in monitoring pace of play.
